Love Orphanage

Founded in Haiti after the devastating earthquake in 2010, Love Orphanage exists to directly improve the lives of children from the most impoverished conditions in Haiti.  The goal is not to adopt them out; the goal is to LOVE and give every child a chance to thrive.

A Place to Bloom in Croix des Bouquets, Haiti

Love Orphanage was founded by Gabriel Fedelus, a Haitian native from the region of Gonaives, who saw the need for homes for children after the earthquake urgently, as Haiti does not have any social services departments for children and relies on private orphanages to provide safe places for kids in need.

On April 7, 2011, with 2 rooms and a few blankets, Love Orphanage welcomed its first 4 homeless children to their new home. Love Orphanage has continued to grow, supporting children ages 3 to 15 years old.

Ahaji, an incredible woman in Philadelphia, was so moved by the need  of these children, she donates her time and energy to fundraising and supporting the children of Love O. We are thrilled to partner with her for this project.

With your donations of $20,000, we will build a clean water system for the children.

For an additional $30,000, we can install a full solar power system as well.

Love Orphanage's staff are currently building a new home for the children to live in (and hopefully to expand to take in more!) but they need support to bring clean water and reliable, safe power to the home.
